Recycling Tips to Follow at Trail Bottle Depot

If you are a first-time recycler and don’t know anything about how to do it, don’t worry. You can turn to us to find helpful recycling tips. Just a heads up, there will be many people trying to deposit many bags of recycled bottles. At Trail Bottle Depot in Calgary, we have listed out a few recycling tips to follow when you come in to deposit your containers.

Recycling Tips for Your Convenience

Ensure your containers are clean.
Only containers and bottles purchased in Alberta are accepted.
You can pre-sort and count containers for a faster return.
If you haven’t paid the deposit, no refunds will be given on the item.
Check if the items you are depositing are refundable. You can access this information from the Beverage Container Management Board.
Empty all containers of any leftovers. Pour out the milk, juice or any other content. Give the containers a quick rinse.
No garbage should be inside the containers or be smeared outside the containers.
No dirty or unsafe containers. We will not take any such containers.
