Trail Bottle Mobile App Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Trail Bottle Depot’s mobile application and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. 

2. Service Description

Trail Bottle Depot (“Trail Bottle,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a bottle collection and recycling service through our mobile application. Our Service allows users to schedule pickups of recyclable containers for refund of deposits. 

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation 

• You must create an account to use our Service 
• You must provide accurate and complete information 
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials 
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account 

3.2 Account Responsibilities 

• You are responsible for all activities under your account 
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use 
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms 

4. User Obligations

You agree to: 

• Provide accurate pickup location and container information 
• Properly prepare and label containers for pickup 
• Be available during scheduled pickup windows 
• Not abuse or misuse the Service 
• Not use the Service for any illegal purposes 
• Not interfere with the Service’s operation 

5. Service Rules

5.1 Acceptable Use 

• Containers must be clean and properly sorted 
• Containers must be placed in designated pickup locations 
• Pickups must be scheduled within our service areas 
• Users must comply with local recycling regulations 

5.2 Prohibited Activities 

• Providing false or misleading information 
• Submitting non-eligible containers 
• Interfering with pickup operations 
• Harassing our staff or drivers 

6. Payments and Refunds

• Deposit refunds will be processed according to current rates 
• Payment methods and processing times are subject to our policies 
• We reserve the right to adjust refund amounts for contaminated or ineligible containers 
• E-transfer passwords will be standardized as communicated 

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Pickups may be canceled or rescheduled within specified timeframes 
• Repeated cancellations may result in service restrictions 
• We reserve the right to cancel pickups due to operational constraints 

8. Service Availability

• Service areas and pickup times are subject to change 
• We do not guarantee specific pickup times 
• Service may be affected by weather, holidays, or other factors 
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services
